本案教師出國後，因病由當地醫師治療，其診斷證明書得否申請延長病假疑義，基於公教一致性，參酌銓敘部86年9月24日函意旨，以駐外單位驗證之國外合法醫師診斷證明申請病假，並得由學校校長依據診斷證明書所載病情輕重及約需治療之時間審酌事實需要，核給延長病假，惟准假與否係屬學校校長職權。
